POUDRE RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT NAMES THREE LIBRARY DIRECTOR FINALISTS The public is invited to a forum June 24 to meet candidates and ask questions The Poudre River Public Library District has named three finalist candidates for the position of Executive Director:
The public forum will be held on Wednesday, June 24 from 6:00 to 8:15 p.m. in the Ben Delatour Room, Main Library in Fort Collins at 201 Peterson. The public is invited to hear each candidate make a presentation which will be followed by a question and answer session. The Poudre River Public Library District Executive Director, working under the direction of the Board of Trustees, leads a staff of more than 150 employees and oversees a budget of $8 million. Facilities include the Main Library, the newly-opened Council Tree Library in Front Range Village, and the Harmony Library, which is jointly operated with Front Range Community College. "Our national search process has resulted in three outstanding candidates with a range of backgrounds and management philosophies," said Board President Mary Atchison.
