Contemporary Authors: biographical and bibliographical information and references on U.S. and international authors. Updated monthly, users may search for an author by name, title of work, nationality, date and place of birth and death, subject/genre, personal and career information, awards and honors, and more.
Contemporary Literary Criticism: extensive collection of full-text critical essays about novelists, poets, playwrights, short story writers, and other creative writers who are now living or who died after December 31, 1959. Each entry contains a biographical/critical introduction, listing of principal works and sources for further study.
Freading: Downloadable fiction and nonfiction eBooks for all ages. Ebooks checkout for a two-week loan period with a two-week renewal option. Customers are allotted 5 tokens per week to check out books. Customers can accumulate up to 20 tokens in a month but they expire at the end of each month. Each book has an established token value of one to four tokens, depending on its popularity and release date.
