1. If you are at home, go to the Library website at http://poudrelibraries.org.
2. Search the catalog for the item you are looking for.
3. Click on the title of the item to see the full record.
4. To place a hold, click on the button.
5. Type your last name in the box that says Your Last Name.
6. Tab to the next box and type in the entire barcode number from your library card with no spaces.
7. Click on the down arrow of this drop down menu (Choose a Pickup Location) Old Town Library Harmony Library Council Tree Library to select a pickup location.
8. Click on the button.
   
   
9. You will see a message that says Your request has been sent to the library.
10. To start a new search in the catalog, click on the button. To get back to your previous search, click on the button.

Time Saving Tip:
If you know in advance that you want to place several books on hold, sign in to My Library Account first. To do this click on either the green tab or the sidebar link named My Library Account. After signing in, click on Search the Catalog. Now when you place holds you will not have to keep typing in your library card number. Be sure to click on the button when you are done so that no one can access your library account.

Note: You will not be able to place holds if you have a block/message on your account. Call 221-6740 to clear the block.
