![]() What is BookExpress? BookExpress is an outreach effort of the Poudre River Public Library District to serve remote areas of the northwest part of the District,
as well as a way to emphasize the top priority of its strategic plan to create young readers. Children ages 0-11 and their parents who live in the Livermore, Stove Prairie, or LaPorte areas as designated on our BookExpress map are eligible to participate in this library service.
The BookExpress collection consist of children's paperback books that are mailed from the library to your home free of charge, along with a return bag and postage paid return label to mail the books back to the library. BookExpress is in effect from now until August 2010. The BookExpress program was originally slated to end on March 15, 2010, but was recently extended for at least an additional six months. Continuing the BookExpress program to the children residing in the attendance areas of Cache La Poudre, Stove Prairie, Red Feather and Livermore Elementary Schools will allow children access to quality popular books over the summer, a critical time period for maintaining reading skills.
