Storytimes
January 4 - April 30, 2010 No Storytime March 15-19, 2010 - Spring Break Staff share their love of books and reinforce early literacy skills through age-appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays in a group setting and parents learn how to foster early literacy skills to prepare their children for learning to read. Storytimes for Ages 2-3Two- and three-year-olds (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories songs and games that encourage their early literacy skills.
Children ages 4 and up, who are ready for a group experience on their own, have fun with engaging books, songs and activities as they build their early literacy skills. Themes Winter/Spring 2010

Mother Goose Time at Harmony Library
A special small-group program for infants through 24 months and their caring grownups. Age-appropriate books, rhymes, and songs are shared. 20 minutes. Mother Goose Time is scheduled in 4-week sessions on Mondays at 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Register at Harmony Library or call 204-8404. Sleepyhead Storytime
January 5 - April 29, 2010 This 30-minute interactive program will feature stories, songs, fingerplays, and family fun. It is designed for children ages 3 through the early elementary grades with a parent or other caregiver. No registration is required. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas. Bring a friend and join the fun! Council Tree Library Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Main Library Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
Animal Afternoon 2010
Join Larimer Animal People Partnership volunteers and their special story-loving critters. Enjoy good books and the opportunity to read to friendly animals. For children in grades K-5. 40-60 minutes. NOCHES EN FAMILIA - Family Nights
¡Ven y disfruta un tiempo de cuentos, manualidades, canciones y películas en español! Come and enjoy a time of stories, crafts, puppets, and songs in Spanish. Each month we will celebrate a special Latin-American holiday or tradition. It doesn't matter if you are a fluent speaker or are just interested in listening to the Spanish language; this is the place for you! A weekly family storytime pilot project begins in Timnath on Friday, February 5 and continues through April 30, 2010. These family storytimes will be offered each Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. in the Timnath Town Hall at 4100 Main Street.
Families with all ages of children are welcome to attend to enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, and a short craft to take home. Attendance is free at these 30-minute programs. Attendees may also borrow books from the informal lending library during the programs. These storytimes are generously funded by the Friends of the Library. Wee Sign at Council Tree Library
Join us for Wee Sign - an ASL baby sign language program. Teacher Jennifer Alexander will teach this free program for children under two years with a caring adult partner in this four-week session. Registration is required with a maximum of 15 child/adult pairs; registration begins on March 18. Call 221-6680 for more information and to register.
