New Answer Center

As part of the remodel and expansion of Main Library, the new Answer Center will be open starting December 1, 2011. The Answer Center will be taking calls during library open hours. If they cannot get to your call, you will be prompted to leave a message. All calls will be returned if you leave a message.

The Answer Center will be located at the new Library District Webster House Administrative Center, 301 E. Olive St. The goal of the Answer Center is to increase customer service for the library customers calling with a question while allowing the library staff to spend more time assisting patrons at the library. When you call the Answer Center, a library employee will assist you with your needs or connect you to a reference professional for in depth questions or reader advisory.

Starting December 1, all published library phone numbers will be funneled into the Answer Center at 221-6740. All Answer Center employees have received special training and want to ensure that no misinformation is given to patrons, and together have more than 30 years of experience.
