Home Access Available  BrainFuse Adult Learning Center: Brainfuse Adult Learning Center provides online, one-on-one coaching to help improve jobs skills and provides tools for job searching. It provides practice tests like the GED and U.S. Citizenship tests. Live tutors and resume building assistance are available 7 days a week from 3 p.m. until 12 midnight. Access is also available in Spanish. NOTE: This database is not accessible with a temporary card.
Home Access Available  Career Cruising: Career Cruising includes tools to help identify work interests, skills, and learning preference through nationally recognized assessment tests. Provides comprehensive college, university, and vocational school information to help plan education and training. Contains advice for developing a job search plan, writing cover letters and resumes and preparing for job interviews. Helps find available jobs in specific career interests. Has a My Plan tool to help keep track of personalized career exploration and planning activities.

Good for business, sociology, finance, marketing, public administration, political science research and for preparing a business plan, comparing macro and micro trends of a selected populations, comparing the demographics and market potential of any geography(ies) in the United States.
Home Access Available  First Research: provides unlimited access to online profiles on over 900 industries. This research tool features in-depth, up-to-date information and gives you the insight you need to provide greater value to students, professors, small business owners and job seekers. Profiles include: Industry overviews, competitive landscape, products, operations and technology, finance and regulation, regional and international issues, human resources and labor statistics.
Home Access Available  JobNow: JobNow provides practical tools to help get a job. It is an online job resource center - including help from real live experts. Check out job listings and the Resume Builder. Talk to actual coaches who can help improve your resume and provide interview tips.
Home Access Available  Jobs & Career Accelerator: is a career guidance and job searching tool that integrates occupation and career exploration, real time jobs listings, resume and cover letter preparation, job search skills, and a personal job search tracking system. It also includes access to skill building resources, including more than 60 interactive computer training courses, and direct access to LearningExpress occupation practice tests and skills tutorials. To use this database, register for an account on the database site. The username is your PRPLD library card number. NOTE: This database is not accessible with a temporary card.
