It provides practice tests like the GED and U.S. Citizenship tests. Live tutors and resume building assistance are available 7 days a week from 3 p.m. until 12 midnight. Access is also available in Spanish. NOTE: This database is not accessible with a temporary card.

Has a My Plan tool to help keep track of personalized career exploration and planning activities.
Home Access Available  CQ Researcher: Overviews of current issues and controversial topics including pro/con statements, background and chronology on the topic, assessment of the current situation, and bibliographies of key sources written by CQ Press journalists.
Home Access Available  Education Research Complete (EBSCO): Bibliographic and full text database covering scholarly research relating to all areas of education. Topics included from early childhood to higher education in full text from 1300 education journals plus other resources.
Home Access Available  JSTOR: Access to academic journals 3 years old and older in a broad spectrum of disciplines, including education, business, law psychology, and public policy. Also included are a large number of journals in the biological sciences. This large backfile includes journals from early in the 1900's.

Tutorials in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more; and basic skill- building in writing, reading comprehension, math, homeschooling, and more. It contains thousands of courses including web development, video and audio production, presentation skills, leadership and management strategies, animation, photography and technology skills for teachers. Courses can be taken on any desktop, laptop or tablet. NOTE: To use this database, 'Create a Profile' on the database website.
