Step 1: Click on the Green Research Button on any page on the Library website.
Step 2: Pick the category from the list for the type of information that you are seeking. Examples of categories would be Arts, Music, & Theatre, Health & Medicine and People & Biography.
Step 3: Select a database in one of the categories. You may be asked to enter your library card barcode number to access the database.
Tip: EBSCO Academic Search Premier is the largest database with many diverse topics. Choose this one if you are in doubt about which database to pick. You will find EBSCO Academic Search Premier in the Magazines, Journals, & Newspapers category.
Step 4: In the search box within the database, enter key words for your topic. Note: Be sure to check the boxes for "full text" & "peer review" to limit your search to those type of articles.
Step 5: To select an article click on its title. You can read, print, download or email the article to yourself.
Note to Students: If available, select the type of citation format that you need.
