There are many ways to support your library:

Material Donations

The Poudre River Friends of the Library, on behalf of the Library District, accept donations of used books and items to stock our quarterly used book sales. Donations of up to one bag or box per person per day are accepted at the information desks at any of the three libraries. Please bring donations that exceed this amount to the Webster House Administration Center at 301 E. Olive Street. Look for the garage door on the west side, in the back of the building, facing Mathews Street.

Donations for the Friends may be left inside this door Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Outside of these hours, please leave donations on the east side of the building next to the building in the employee parking area under the overhang. Access is from the driveway entrance on Olive St. or via the alley to the south.

All donations are accepted on a 'no strings attached' basis and become the property of the library or the Friends of the Library. Donations of specific items to be added to the collection must be pre-approved. Forms and information are available in the Administration Office by calling (970) 221-6740.

Donations of used magazines and textbooks are not accepted by the library or the Friends of the Library. Questions about donations of magazine subscriptions should be referred to Collections Development Services at (970) 221-6740.

Receipts for donations are available at the circulation desks at the three libraries and at the Webster House Administrative Center dropoff location.

Gift-a-Book

Monetary Donations
Memorial or Honor Donation

The Library is pleased to accept memorial or honor donations. This is a wonderful way to remember or acknowledge someone special. Our Collection Development staff will make every attempt to fulfill specific requests for material that is appropriate to that individual. When the donation is received, an acknowledgement is sent to the donor and the family (or other designee). When the book is put into circulation, usually about 4-6 weeks, a bookplate is placed inside the book's cover, and a notice goes to the donor and family informing them of the titles of the materials purchased. Thank you for considering the Library as a means to honor someone important to you.

Gift or General Donation

The Library welcomes monetary donations to the Library District in support of library services, materials and programs. Donations can be anonymous or provide your personal information to receive a thank you card from the Library Director.

Simply fill out this form or email Cynthia Langren at CLangren@poudrelibraries.org with any questions.

Note: For your security, cash donations are only accepted in person at our business office, Webster House Administration Center, located at 301 E. Olive Street.
