Meet the Library Board of Trustees

Matt Schild Matt Schild, President
Matt has held roles in publishing, advertising and corporate communications for more than 20 years. He currently serves as communications manager at CSU's College of Business, and is active in the Northern Colorado literary and music communities. His debut novel, "The Completely Unverified True Story of a Reality Television Superstar," was an Amazon bestseller in 2022.

Corey is a freelance writer and book editor with previous professional experience in non-profits and libraries. Over her writing career, Corey has especially enjoyed featuring Fort Collins people, places, and businesses.

Randyn Heisserer-Miller, Secretary/Treasurer
Randyn is an Assistant Professor and Librarian at Colorado State University. As an academic librarian, he is invested in advocating for intellectual freedom; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and free access to all knowledge.

Joshua Fudge

Joshua Fudge
Josh has served as the Budget Director for Larimer County, and lived in the library district for 8 years. He is an alum of the University of Wisconsin and George Mason University. Josh is an avid reader of both fiction and history, his favorite authors being Stephen King, William W. Johnstone, and David Halberstam. Josh has two kids, one an avid science fiction reader himself, ages 14 and 16.

Hilary Herrmann
Hilary is the Early Childhood Education Pathway Lead at the Futures Lab in Poudre School District. She's been a passionate book nerd since she learned how to read and is excited to be a part of the Library.

Anuja Riles
Anuja is a pediatrician with Banner Health and a faculty member at the CU at CSU School of Medicine. She has special interests in early literacy development and in the role of literacy in health and healthcare.

Vicki Woods

Vicki Woods

Vicki moved to Fort Collins six years ago from St. Louis, MO. While in St. Louis she was a library director; earlier in her career she ran a film program for a university. She recently retired as the executive director of the Poudre Landmarks Foundation. She is an avid reader and cinephile, and passionately believes public libraries are the heart of a community.
